We hope everyone is enjoying the warm weather and sunshine. It was great to see so many folks at The Redbud Festival and at Shakori Hills. Shakori Hills will be having their Moonlight Music and Dance Series each Friday night begining May 4 and running through September 28. The Bynum Front Porch Series gets off and running on Friday nights in May and runs through September as well. The Saxaphaw Rivermill series will run on Saturday nights from May 5 through August with an Okberfest added to the program.

Thursday, May 3, Tommy Edwards and Friends (Alice Zincone and Rick Lafluer) will have their regular first Thursday show at Captain John's Dockside Restaurant in the Cole Park Plaza Shopping Center just south of Chapel Hill on 15-501. Sunday, June 3, The Bluegrass Experience will once again perform for the Joann Gaddy Grimes Big Event to fight cancer at Country Park in downtown Greensboro. Activities begin around 9:30 am. Friday June 8. The Bluegrass Experience will once again perform for the Bynum Front Porch Music Series at the famous Bynum General Store.
